Kristen Earle, MD, FACS

Dr. Earle (formerly Hardcastle) is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and received her MD from Ohio State University. She completed her general surgery residency at Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus before coming to Greensboro in 1996. She serves as the director of CCS Bariatrics.

Matt Martin, MD, FACS

Originally from Baytown, Texas, Dr. Martin received his BA from Rice University and his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His internship and residency were completed at the Wake Forest University/Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem and included a clinical research fellowship involving bariatric patients. He has practiced surgery in Greensboro since 1985.

Ben Hoxworth, MD, FACS

Dr. Hoxworth was born and grew up in Cincinnati, graduated from Miami of Ohio and then received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed both his internship and residency at Vanderbilt University, as well as a fellowship in nutrition and metabolism. He has practiced in Greensboro since 1987.

David Newman, MD, FACS

A native of Fayetteville, NC, Dr. Newman completed his undergraduate work at Wake Forest and he received his M.D. at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. He then served his internship and surgical residency at the University of South Carolina before starting his surgery career in Greensboro in 1985.
